Admission
Admissions to Two Years Bachelor of Education programs at Government Teachers Training College, Deoghar are strictly based
on marks obtained by the applicant at various examinations throughout his/her
academic career (upto Masters Degree), marks obtained by the student are
translated to POINTS, and thoes obtaining higher points are selected for
admission as per availibilty of seats, in the event of two or more applicants
obtaining the same number of points, those with higher qualification(s) would be
given priority.
Eligibility :
i. Age - Minimum 18 years
as on 1st. July of the session of admission.
ii. Educational Qualification :
a. Minimum Bachelors
degree from a recognized Indian University with 50% marks for
Unreserved Category and 45% for reserved categories and .

b. Graduate Engineers (minimum 55% marks)may apply for Physics and Mathematics Only.
iii. Must be a domicile of Jharkhand (
view detailed requirements.
).
** - The subject in which admission is sought must be one
of the main subjects studied at Graduation level, to avail additional points of Graduation
Hons., the subject applied for must be his/her Hons. subject. Engineering students may apply for Physics/Mathematics only, and would be treated at par with Graduation Pass Course only.
